By adjusting the cutout in the aluminum front jaw, the travel of the locking roller is increased to create a wider range of adjustment in which the system works well.
With the 2021 rudder systems, much less fine adjustment is required to hold the rudder blade securely in the race position and then move it to the beach position by pulling on the uphaul line.
